Pencil reconfig
For some reasons the text written by pencil does not stay. The one written by finger stays. It would be nice that the pencil notes stay. I’d also use finger to point in that setup.
It could be programmable in settings.
Otherwise, very very nice app, that replaces PPT and Keynote
The behavior you mention comes with the „scribble“ feature of the Apple Pencil turned on within the pencil settings (see the hint in our help page). Please turn the feature off and the pencil should work as suggested.
Support internal hyperlinks

Please support standard pdf internal navigation using the `/GoTo` action, which allows hyperlinks to navigate to another page or destination within the same pdf. External web links already work, but internal `/GoTo` links currently do not.
Recording Movie
I love your presenter software. However, I really need to make a movie file. When I start displaying a PDF, the record button is disabled. Did I do something wrong?
I assume you did not connect your iPad to any secondary display via HDMI or AirPlay. Since the magic ink should not become part of a video, screen recording is implemented for any secondary display only. Accordingly, the recording button only is enabled when your presentation is shown on a projector, the display of a Mac or any other screen. Hope this feedback solves your problem, otherwise just drop an email.
Use remote Satechi
Thanks for the nice app. It seems not possible to go to next or previous slide with the remote Satechi R2. All the other presenter programs are working on this remote. Thank you for looking at the issue.
According to google, Satechi R2 in presentation mode emulates a standard wireless keyboard. For “previous slide” it sends the left-arrow key code, for “next slide” the right-arrow key code. This is exactly what magicPresenter reacts on. However, please be aware that changing slides with a presenter is only possible if the laser pointer tool is active and you are not editing the presenter notes text. Please be aware that changing slides by arrow keys also does not work if you control your iPad completely without touching the screen, by using the Full Keyboard Access feature (Settings > Accessibility > Keyboards > Full Keyboard Access).
Unfortunately, we do not own a Satechi presenter, thus cannot test its use. If before hints do not help, please get in touch so that we can find a solution together.
