Page Up / Page Down for presenter remotes

Thank you for this wonderful app, which I would love to use in my lectures.

My presenter remote (Logitech R400) sends Page Up and Page Down to change slides. It seems magicPresenter reacts to the left and right arrow keys, but not to Page Up and Page Down. It would be great if those keys could also go to the next and previous slide, since many remotes use them.

Page Up and page down have been added to the key codes used to change slides. Additionally, the extended preferences allow to customise key codes.

Slide navigation

Slide navigation controls (next-slide and previous-slide) are relatively small. In the standard view, one can click on the preview frame instead of next-slide. In full-screen mode, however, one has to hit the small next-slide button.

How about either larger buttons or a next-slide gesture (perhaps two-finger swipe right or three-finger tap)?

We have enlarge the buttons and implemented a two fingers swipe gesture to change slides. Both will be available starting with release 2.2 that will be published soon.

Laser pointer options

Thanks for the excellent app.
It would be great to be able to configure the laser pointer.

– The light green is not ideal for white backgrounds. Also, it blocks the slide’s content. Transparency would be nice.

– The laser pointer currently remains visible for a few seconds before it disappears. It would be nice if there were a setting to only show it when it is moving.

We have implemented the possibility to configure the color, opacity and stay-visible duration of the virtual laser pointer. All will be available starting with release 2.2 of magicPresenter to be published soon.
