Recording Movie

I love your presenter software. However, I really need to make a movie file. When I start displaying a PDF, the record button is disabled. Did I do something wrong?

I assume you did not connect your iPad to any secondary display via HDMI or AirPlay. Since the magic ink should not become part of a video, screen recording is implemented for any secondary display only. Accordingly, the recording button only is enabled when your presentation is shown on a projector, the display of a Mac or any other screen.
